Beginning Tuesday, August 15th a well maintenance project will be occurring in Aqua WSC’s Zone 7. You may notice a decrease in water pressure that is expected to last between 72 and 96 hours, or 3 to 4 days. Upon completion of the project, your pressure should return to normal or better. What is a well maintenance project and why is it necessary?

Just like any piece of motorized equipment, wells need regular tune-ups. Every so often, the pump, motor, and the column pipe need to be replaced. Once replacements are made, tests are conducted to ensure the well is operational. Performing regular maintenance on wells is important to improve efficiency and ensure system resilience.
