We will continue to make needed investments in infrastructure, while following accepted industry conservation practices, to support sensible growth in order to ensure first-rate service for all of the residents and businesses in our nearly 1,000-square mile service area throughout six Texas counties.
Capital Improvement Projects
2016 FM 535 Transmission Main. Construction of approximately 50,000 feet of new water line on FM 535 from Rosanky to SH 95 south of Smithville to improve water service in this area. Total project cost is $1,224,000.
2017 Weaver Pump Station Upgrade. Construction of a new pump station at the existing Weaver elevated tank site to improve service in the southwest area of the system. Total project cost is $1,578,000.
2018 ER Water Treatment Plant Improvements. Installation of a new dual media pressure filter system and inline booster pump. Upgrading chlorination building and system. Total project cost is $1,400,000.
2018 Tank Painting Program. Repairs and repainting of Aqua’s Flag Hill Stand Pipe, Red Rock Elevated Storage Tank and Herrin Elevated Storage Tank. Total project cost is $1,000,000.
