Aqua WSC Cross Connection Program
The Cross Connection Program manages and administers Aqua WSC and state cross connection regulations to protect the health and safety of the membership. The program ensures that safeguards are in place to protect against backflow from cross-connections.
A cross connection is any actual or potential connection between a public water system and any other source or system which could introduce a substance into the potable water system. This includes any used water, gas, industrial fluids, solids, steam, lawn irrigation system or any source which may change the color, taste, or odor of the potable water.
The Aqua cross connection program follows the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulations for backflow device installation, testing and record keeping.
