On July 17, 2023, at a special-called meeting of the Aqua Water Supply Corporation’s Board of Directors, the Board unanimously passed a resolution temporarily suspending the acceptance of applications for feasibility studies and consideration of feasibility studies for the provision of water service to new development projects pending the completion of an independent water system audit now in progress.

The water system audit is scheduled to be completed by November 2023, at which time the Board will reconsider its decision to suspend applications for, and consideration of, feasibility studies.

Upon termination of the suspension, applications for feasibility studies currently pending with Aqua will be processed in the order received, starting with reevaluations of completed feasibility studies which have not expired prior to July 17, 2023.

All resolutions previously adopted by the Board recognizing the feasibility of providing water service to a specific development and authorizing the General Manager to negotiate and execute a contract remain in effect.
