On May 29th, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Aqua WSC to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that water was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Aqua WSC has taken the necessary actions to confirm the quality of the water and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water does not require boiling prior to use as of May 30th, 2024.

This Boil Water Notice was issued as a precautionary measure following a brief, planned water outage that occurred on May 29th, 2024. The outage was necessary due to construction of water system improvements which included installation of a system valve vault along HWY 290 E in Zone 7 of Aqua WSC’s distribution system.
