On the morning of Tuesday, March 18th, Aqua WSC will begin a well maintenance project in the Brownsboro area, south of the City of Lockhart. This project is designed to improve well efficiency in the short term and ensure reliability and performance in the long term.

Members may experience low pressure or an interruption in water service while the well pumps are “offline”. We appreciate your patience in advance. To mitigate this inconvenience, Aqua WSC advises that members conserve water while the project is ongoing. We expect the project to take up to 48 hours to complete.

Here are some ways you can help conserve water while the maintenance project is ongoing:

  • Limit outdoor watering and the use of clothes washers on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Reduce non-essential toilet flushing – each flush uses approximately 2 gallons of water!
  • Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or shaving.
  • Choose a 5 to 10-minute shower instead of a bath.

If distribution pressures drop below the required threshold, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) will require Aqua WSC to issue a Boil Water Notice as a precautionary measure. If this happens, we will let you know: You will receive a call at the number we have on file for your account.

Thank you for your attention to this important notice. If you have questions, please contact our office at (512) 303-3943 during normal business hours.
